- Knowledge Graph Data: The relationships and tags generated from your browsing activity.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is strictly used to provide the BrainTab experience:
- To power the Kira AI assistant, allowing you to ask questions about your tabs.
- To generate the visual Knowledge Graph so you can see connections between topics.
- To enable intelligent searching across your history.
3. Local Storage & Processing
Your data is yours. BrainTab stores your browsing memories locally on your device. Data is only sent to an AI service when you explicitly use AI-powered features such as summaries or chat.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party AI service providers to generate summaries and answer user requests. Only the minimum data required to process the request is transmitted securely over HTTPS. We do not sell user data.
5. Data We Do Not Collect
BrainTab does not collect:
- Passwords
- Payment information
- Personal identity documents
- Banking information
- Health information
6. Your Choices
You have full control over your data. You can:
- Clear your BrainTab knowledge graph at any time from the extension settings.
- Disable BrainTab on specific sensitive websites.
- Uninstall the extension, which immediately removes access to any locally stored data.
